The Crystal Quest Guardian is a whole-house filter that runs on nothing but water pressure. No pump, no electricity, no programming required. It filters up to 1,500,000 gallons through a 3-stage multimedia bed targeting the contaminants most households actually deal with: chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, pesticides, and VOCs. - No Electricity Required: The system runs entirely on household water pressure. There is no pump, no controller, and no power connection needed. Install it and it works.
- 3-Stage Filtration: Stage 1 uses two types of coconut shell GAC (Premium and Catalytic) to remove heavy metals including lead and mercury, chlorine, chloramine, herbicides, pesticides, and petroleum and pharmaceutical by-products. Stage 2 uses GAC infused with Eagle Redox Alloy 6500 to inhibit bacteria and algae growth. Stage 3 finishes with a 10-inch carbon block cartridge that removes VOCs, solvents, cleaners, paints, and dyes.
- Long Media Life: The 1.5 cu ft tank filters 1,000,000 gallons. The 2.0 cu ft tank handles 1,500,000 gallons. Media replacement is every 5-10 years and you refill the existing tank. You do not replace the tank.
- Upflow Design: Water flows upward through the media bed during service. This reduces channeling and keeps the media evenly distributed without requiring a traditional downflow backwash cycle.
- Fiberglass Tank: The Guardian is available in fiberglass only. Fiberglass resists humidity and coastal salt-air environments better than stainless steel and requires no special maintenance.
- Sized for Real Homes: The 1.5 cu ft model supports 9-11 GPM and fits 1-3 bathroom homes. The 2.0 cu ft model supports 10-13 GPM and fits 2-4 bathroom homes.
- BPA-Free Construction: All materials in contact with drinking water are BPA-free.

- Salt-Free Conditioner: Converts calcium into calcite crystals that pass through plumbing without depositing as scale. No brine tank, no salt refills, no backwash needed. Important: this does not remove calcium from the water. A standard hardness test after installation will still show the same reading, and some water spotting on dishes is still possible. Effective up to 25 GPG water hardness. Above 25 GPG, consult a water treatment specialist before purchasing.
- UV Sterilizer: Kills bacteria and viruses at the point of entry. A good addition for well-fed systems or any source with biological contamination risk.
- Leak Detector: Automatically shuts off the water supply if a downstream leak is detected.
