Explorer 2000 Plus Key Features
- 3,000W rated output (6,000W surge): Five AC outlets including one 120V/25A heavy-duty circuit. Runs refrigerators, chest freezers, sump pumps, power tools, and most household loads simultaneously.
- LiFePO4 battery, expandable to 24kWh: 4,000-cycle life rated to 70%+ capacity retention with a 10+ year lifespan. LiFePO4 chemistry is more thermally stable and chemically safer than NMC at both high and low temperatures. Add expansion battery units via the DC Expansion Port (32.2V-50.4V, 97A Max) to scale storage to 24kWh.
- UL2743 certified and 94V-0 fireproof: Two independent safety certifications. UL2743 covers portable power stations specifically. 94V-0 is the highest flame-retardant rating for materials. Not all power stations in this class carry both.
- 2-year standby at 50% charge: Store the unit partly filled and it holds that charge for up to two years. Relevant for emergency preparedness where the unit sits unused for months between events.
- 2-hour AC charge time: Full recharge from a standard 120V, 15A outlet in 2 hours. Solar recharge in approximately 2 hours with six 200W panels at maximum 1,400W input.
