This is an expansion battery unit, not a standalone power station. The Jackery Battery Pack 5000 Plus connects exclusively to the Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus and adds 5,040Wh of LiFePO4 capacity to your existing setup. If you do not already own a Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus, this unit will not operate on its own. For homesteaders running serious off-grid loads, this is how you stack toward the Explorer 5000 Plus's maximum 60kWh of total storage.

Battery Pack 5000 Plus Key Features

  • Expansion-only design: Pairs exclusively with the Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus via the DC Expansion Port. Requires the Explorer 5000 Plus to function. Will not power any load independently.
  • 5,040Wh LiFePO4 capacity: Lithium iron phosphate chemistry is more thermally stable than NMC cells and does not require the same tight thermal management. Discharge works down to 5F (-15C), which matters in unheated outbuildings and winter installations.
  • 4,000-cycle lifespan: Each cycle retains 70%+ capacity. At one cycle per day, that is over ten years before meaningful degradation. NMC batteries in the same price class typically rate 500 to 1,500 cycles.
  • Scalable to 60kWh: Add multiple Battery Pack 5000 Plus units to the Explorer 5000 Plus to scale your total system. Each pack adds 5,040Wh toward the 60kWh system maximum.
  • BMS with UL1973 certification: Built-in battery management system includes fireproof and shockproof protection. UL1973 is the standard certification for stationary energy storage systems.
  • Smart display: On-unit readout shows charge status and system state at a glance without opening an app.
  • Dual-handle design: At 81.57 lbs, this is a two-person lift. Dual handles make repositioning manageable during installation.

If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days) we will process the charges and get to work preparing your order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will ship within three business days from the date of your order.

International Orders:

Please be aware that our products are made specifically for the USA market. This means that they require a 110V electrical system to function correctly. 

Our products have generally not been certified for use with other countries electrical safety standards but all of our products are certified to [country of sale] standards.

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery or do not agree to accept the delivery.

If you do accept delivery you are required to immediately take photos using your smart phone or camera of the damaged packaging or products inside the packaging.
